The Laboratory of Biology educates the first-year Medical students of NKUA in the latest aspects of Cellular and Molecular Biology and Genetics in respect to the human diseases, as well as students from all academic years in more specific subject areas of Biology and applications in Regenerative Medicine.

The Director and the Faculty members of the Laboratory of Biology emphasize on the multifarious education of the students, covering a wide spectrum of basic biological functions and recent discoveries in the Bioscience filed, while encouraging critical thinking and hands on practical laboratory skills.  The Faculty members are also involved in the preparation of the undergraduate Medical students for their participation in the annual conference of the Scientific Society of Medical Students in Greece. The students have the unique opportunity to orally present their findings.
